‘The Superflare’ is a post-apocalyptic dystopian story filled with science fiction. It’s 2051, and a gigantic solar storm has hit the earth, making living almost impossible. All digital devices and power supplies have been destroyed.
Julia, a seventeen-year-old girl, and Winston, an 18-year-old boy, fight to survive but also have each other for support and companionship. Each of their own creates a beautiful dynamic of a tale. Each personality and thought is described, but also the uniform goal becomes an attraction between Julia and Winston.
AI is holding everyone under control, and this isn’t too far-fetched. It also induces the thought of what exists now, the technology-dominated world we live in today. It definitely provides food for thought.
