In 2016, historian and philosopher Yuval Noah Harari described in his book “Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow” how AI will render humans obsolete. Harari predicted the emergence of a “useless class” of humans. Almost 10 years later, Bill Gates hits the same notch, referring to the rapid triumph of AI development: “Within 10 years, AI will replace many doctors and teachers—humans won’t be needed ‘for most things’”.
